South Hanningfield Village Hall

New Noticeboard The previous noticeboard pictured was erected and dedicated to two special, very respected and loved villagers Philip Schneidau 1927 to 2009 and Eric Everett 1933 to 2009 that we sadly lost, may they both rest in peace. The memorial dedication at the bottom of the old noticeboard has been carefully removed and will be renovated and installed to the back of this new noticeboard. Unfortunately, even though these people live on in our memories forever, the noticeboard reached a stage of requiring to be replaced due to rotting timber. We managed to secure funding from the National Lottery Community Fund £1546 and South Hanningfield Parish Council donated £250 which we greatly appreciated so we were able to fund this new noticeboard. It was installed by volunteers Simon and Clive on 11th January 2023. This new noticeboard should stand the test of time and is much easier to display information in.
