**Exciting Developments at Roe Wood Allotments: It's Been A Busy Few Months!**

The past few months at Roe Wood Allotments have been nothing short of eventful, with a flurry of activity and new initiatives taking shape. We’ve successfully launched a new allotment society, held productive meetings with the council, and come together in multiple working parties where dedicated members have rolled up their sleeves to help clear and maintain different areas of the site.

At Roe Wood Allotments, we quickly realized that if we wanted to see change, we had to take matters into our own hands—and that’s exactly what we've done! This is where the power of our community-driven society comes in, motivating members to actively contribute to the ongoing improvement of our beloved site.

In other exciting news, the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) will be visiting Sheffield this year, engaging with up to eight allotment sites across the city. With over 70 allotment sites in Sheffield, this is a fantastic opportunity for us at Roe Wood Allotments. We’ll be putting together an application to invite the RHS to visit and hold talks with us, and we’re excited to see where this could take us! The details will be discussed at our next committee meeting on **March 8th at 10:30 AM**, followed by our monthly working party.

Stay tuned to our website for more updates as we continue working together to make Roe Wood Allotments a thriving community space.

Also if you want to become a member of the society and maybe the committee, then send us an email with your name, plot number and contact details 😀

Thank you for your continued support!
