Welcome to the ENdoWarrior Project
(Endometriosis: Promoting Outreach in Schools and Colleges)
The ENdoWarrior Project is a youth-led project that delivers endometriosis education alongside existing menstrual health curriculum to students in Years 8 to 12.
Endometriosis affects approximately 1 in 10 women, yet it often takes 8 to 12 years to receive a diagnosis, even longer for Black Women. This means silently enduring symptoms throughout their school years without understanding what’s happening to their bodies. Without comprehensive education on menstrual health and endometriosis in schools, far too many will continue to suffer in silence.
That’s why this project matters.
Our educational program is designed to raise awareness about endometriosis, reduce delays in diagnosis, and empower young women with the knowledge and confidence to advocate for their health. By bringing this crucial information into classrooms, we aim to break the cycle of misinformation and help young people take control of their well-being
Project Overview
Our mission is to provide comprehensive, age-appropriate education about endometriosis to students nationwide. Through this project we aim to:
- Deliver accurate, accessible information about endometriosis to school-aged young people.
- Break the stigma around menstruation by encouraging open, respectful conversations.
- Empower students to recognise symptoms, advocate for their health, and seek timely medical attention.
How We Educate
Our programme is brought directly into schools by Endometriosis Educators, who blend expert content with their lived experiences. By sharing their personal journeys, they foster empathy and create a safe space for meaningful dialogue.
Each session is interactive, engaging, and aligned with national menstrual health education standards. We encourage conversations not just within the classroom, but also among families, school staff, nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
