Oxshott Guiding

Oxshott Girlguiding

With guiding, girls & women age 4+ have fun, adventure and the space to discover their potential.

They go to their first ever sleepover, canoe on rivers, learn about body confidence, and lead their own camp. Or sometimes they simply have fun and try new things with friends.

Girls take what they do in guiding with them as they grow up. Everything from working in a team, to taking the lead, to speaking out on issues they care about. It helps them develop the skills and confidence to become the young women they want to be. And to make a difference to the world around them.

To join over 300,000 girls across the UK, begin by registering interest and finding out about our Oxshott, Stoke D'Abernon & Cobham Units.

There are so many reasons to join Girlguiding! We offer a safe, girl-only space in which your child can build confidence, learn new skills and discover who they want to be. We’ve got an action-packed programme with something for every girl, and we work to be truly girl-led in everything we do.

Please register your child (up to 18 years old) to become a member here

Girlguiding is not only for the girls!  We have an adult section too!

In Trefoil Guild, members aged 18+ make new friends, travel, explore, serve their communities and help Guiding thrive across the UK! Whether you have been involved in Guiding or not, Trefoil Guild is a wonderful opportunity to meet like-minded people to share your next adventure – whatever that might be!
Trefoil Guild acts like a branch of Girlguiding and its members agree to support the guiding ethos – including the pledge to help other people. Many members pass on their skills and knowledge to local guiding units, from helping Brownies work towards a badge to preparing older girls for a camping adventure.
But it’s not all about the girls – there are plenty of opportunities for members to try something new, take on a new personal challenge and escape the daily routine. The best thing is that what you do is up to you!

Girlguiding at Oxshott and in the Cobham District, simply would not exist without the skills and enthusiasm of its female & male adult volunteers.  Whether you can spare two hours a week or a two hours a month, we need volunteers and helpers for people who share our aim of making life better for young people.

You don’t need to know anything about Girlguiding - we’ll provide full training, induction and ongoing support.

Ever wanted to train as an axe throwing instructor then join us to make this happen for you!
