Boningale have made their first move and entered an application for outline planning for the land along the A-458. The site is located to the south-east of Much Wenlock, split across two development parcels either side of the A458 Bridgnorth Road. The location of the site in relation to Much Wenlock is shown below.
The western parcel is also bounded by Callaughton Lane to the west and an unnamed access road to the south. The eastern parcel is bounded by agricultural land to the south and east, and a residential area and Much Wenlock Primary School to the north.
The application number is 26/00294/OUT. As expected, it calls for up to 300 dwellings. Go to the Shropshire Council website and click on "Planning Applications" to see the detail. You need to register on the site to add your comments, which can be objections or in support of the application.
The initial consultation period runs through February 23rd. If you do choose to comment, we would suggest that you do not copy other comments but rather make your own - a personal comment is much better. Also please be aware petitions can be counted as one comment regardless of many names there are at the bottom.
