The Town Council has submitted a major grant application for the Guildhall which the Civic Society supports in principle. Discussed that there should have been much more community consultation. Its Grade 2* listed status should ensure involvement from the Conservation Officer and Statutory Consultee the SPAB when Planning Permission is required.
