Privacy Policy for the Middle Thames Archaeological and Historical Society (MTAHS)

Members' personal data held by the Society comprises contact details including their name and address, and also their telephone no. and e-mail address if they have been provided by the member.  This data is stored by one or more committe members on computers which are password protected.

These details are used if MTAHS needs to contact the member about their membership or the Society's meetings or other activities.  The Society may also use contact details to inform members of other local history related matters considered to be of interest to MTAHS members.  MTAHS will not disclose any of this data to a third party without the relevant member's explicit permission.

At any time, any member may ask to be see their own personal data held by the Society, and have the right to amend or delete all or part of this information, by writing to the secretary of the Society.
