A display of photographs at Heysham Library has brought a splash of colour to the dark days of winter.
The exhibition of more than 50 pictures covers epic landscapes, dramatic city scenes, coastal views, wildlife, portraits and abstract images.

The show has been put on by Morecambe Camera Club, whose members regularly meet at the library.
An evening preview was enjoyed by the Friends of Heysham Library who expressed surprise at the wide range of subjects covered.
And club members were on hand to chat over tea and biscuits about the hobby and how they were inspired to get the most out of their photography.
They answered questions about the pictures on display and the fields of special interest such as portraiture or macro photography.
It led to fond reminiscences about old cameras and the contrast with the camera phones of today.

The exhibition runs to February 14 at the library on Heysham Road.
Graham Dean, club competition secretary, said: "I think for a small club we have put on a great show. We are a friendly group and open to welcoming anyone interested in joining to get the most out of their digital camera or camera phone."

The club meets most Thursday evenings at the library from October to March to hold competitions, workshops and talks.
In summer, members meet up out and about on shoots and review the results once a month at the library.
