"Faith and Atheism - Shared Values or Irreconcilable Differences?"
Monday 14 April 2008
18:00 to 20:45
A "Question Time" style discussion, with a multi-faith/belief panel drawn from members of Kingston Inter Faith Forum and the South West London Humanist Group: Rabbi Danny Rich, Chief Executive of Liberal Judaism UK; Reverend Lesley Charlton, minister of the Eden Street United Reformed Church; Sheikh Abdessamad, one of the two imams at Kingston Mosque, and Marilyn Mason, former education officer of the British Humanist Association. The meeting will be chaired by Jeremy Rodell, Chair of the South West London Humanist Group, and there will be plenty of opportunities for audience participation. We hope that plenty of audience members will bring along questions they'd like to put to the panel.
Space is limited and demand will be high, so please reserve your place via the contact below. Doors open at 6.00pm so come along early to have a chat and to hand in your questions to the Chair (by 6.15 please). The discussion will begin at 6.45pm and will end by 8.45pm.
