Want to play for us?
We're always on the look out for artists who are willing to play for us to support our cause. If you are in a band and want to play for LMHR York, please contact Bill Adamson at York-LMHR@proton.me.
Costs
We do not generally offer fees/costs to the bands that work with us. The bands who agree to play do so because they share our concerns and want to promote our message and purpose. Like the volunteers at LMHR, they are willing to give their time freely. For obvious reasons, we also want to maximise the funds generated by events to support our cause.
However, we realise that there will be occasions when it is necessary to make a contribution towards costs to allow artists to support us. We would normally expect this to be mentioned at the outset of contacts, and that the nature and amount of costs are specified. This is so we can properly consider requests and keep proper financial accounts.
We can be flexible, so if you have costs you cannot meet, let us know and we will consider how we might help. If you want to make a request, please specify the nature and likely amount of each cost.
