About the bands

Vagabond

Vagabond are a punk trio with an unwavering tenacity that has propelled them into local notoriety. Their sound is as explosive and uncompromising as their message, which speaks to a disillusioned generation navigating an uncertain future. They were the 2025 winners of Jorvik’s Battle of the Bands, and though they are young, they command the stage with high-octane guitar licks and unrelenting drums that brings back raw punk rock for a modern audience.

Blair Bitch Project

Blair Bitch Project are playing off the back of their debut album launcht. This grungy, high velocity riot-girl ensemble promises an evening of 90s-singed tracks inspired by the likes of Hole and Bikini Kill. Displaying an array of murky, distorted guitar riffs, resonant bass rhythms and raspy vocals that ascend above the delightful chaos, their performance is not to be missed.

Sweeping Statement

Sweeping Statement will take the stage to showcase their hardcore shredding and thrashing post-punk prog numbers. Powered by an unyielding wall of noise, they display a devil-may-care attitude and an intense drive in equal measures. Don your long sleeves under your t-shirt and gear up for a night of moshing and headbanging.
