Lims Martial Arts

Lim Quan Kung Fu was founded by Grandmaster Akira Lim. 

It is a combination of different types of Kungfu with it's origin in Chin Woo.

The four main arts concentrated on are Hung Gar, Northern Shaolin,

Five Ancestors (White Crane) and Wushu.

There are also fighting elements taken from San Shou, Choy Lay Futt and Wing Chun

as well as other styles such as Liu He Tong Bei and Baji. 

We also use the weapons of stick and sword within our syllabus, as well as Qigong and Chen Taichi. 

We also do traditional lion dance yearly for the Chinese New Year.

The Lion dance traditionally is used at Chinese New Year to bring in goodluck,

but many of the stances used are those of the basic stances used in Kungfu,

hence are good for Kungfu training purposes.

We regularly do demonstrations for Kingston Chinese Association,

London South West Chinese Community Association

and for associations in London, Kingston, Wandsworth and Sutton.
