Despite a very wet June afternoon, the weather cleared as we arrived. We were able to stroll along the herbaceous borders and admire the impressive delphiniums and roses. A hedged rose garden included a very pretty arbour planted with climbing roses and clematis and featured many David Austin roses. The 2.5 acres also included a stream in a wildflower meadow and a small vegetable and cutting garden.
