GUIDE TO FLORAL ART

If you enjoy flower arranging but are new to exhibiting your displays, our new guide explains the main types of classes, offers some useful tips and includes image galleries. Our classes, apart from the Novice class, are now open to non-members as well as members.

Our guide outlines the main types of classes in the Floral Art section.  The novice class is a good way to start if you are new to this type of arrangement.  The guide outlines the requirements for the petite and miniature classes.  It also defines the requirements for large displays in the Championship class.  The classes may have a seasonal theme or a topical theme.  The smaller classes often feature a display in a small receptacle such as a basket or cup and saucer.  The size of the exhibit is an important criteria but there is also plenty of scope for interpretation and your own style. You can see examples of the different types of classes in the image galleries.
