Two people were hit by trains and killed during rush hour yesterday, in a double tragedy that caused chaos for commuters. Police said they did not believe the two deaths - less than four hours apart at Richmond and Mortlake stations - were linked.
A woman, believed to be in her 50s and from Westminster, was killed at Richmond station at just after 4pm yesterday. A man, thought to be 21-years-old and from Feltham, thought to have walked on to the tracks at Mortlake, just two stops from Richmond, at about 7.30pm.
