AGM/Public Meeting
Wednesday 10 September 2008
19:00 to 21:00
With the election of Tory Boris Johnson as London’s Mayor we hold this public meeting to find out what powers of scrutiny the Greater London Assembly actually has.
The current Mayoris second only to the PM in the amount of political power he wields and we ask if the GLA is able to reflect the views of the rest of Londoners especially on issues relating to public transport.
Speaker:- Valerie Shawcross, GLA Assembly Member (Lambeth & Southwark) and Chair of GLA Transport Committee
Everyone welcome so bring along friends and relatives.
