Repair Cafe

Hounslow Repair Cafe CIC (HRC) runs regular Repair Events in Hounslow Borough for our residents to bring electrical, clothing, bike and portable devices for free diagnosis and repair with the goal to nurture local repair skills, develop a sustainability mindset in our community and meet the long-term objective of becoming a ‘low-waste neighbourhood.’

Learn-to-Repair Workshops for Hounslow Youths

We also run a series of Learn-to-repair workshops for young people aged 10-24 who live, study, or work in London Borough of Hounslow.  This initiative introduces a structured training programme with four workshops in each of the 3 key areas - Electrical repair, Bike repair and Clothing Repair.  The course provides practical repair techniques designed to change attitudes towards repair and maintenance, nurture a sustainability mind-set in our community and to build a local talent pool with good executive function skills.
