Hold It Down CIC runs a variety of community programmes designed to support emotional wellbeing, build skills and nurture leadership. Our flagship Roots & Wings event is a vibrant, community-led celebration that honours fathers and strengthens family bonds in Croydon, co-designed with participants.
We also offer creative workshops – from storytelling and spoken word to digital media and art – that provide safe spaces for young people to express themselves and build confidence. Our mentorship and leadership development programmes help emerging leaders gain skills in event management, communication and teamwork, while our youth engagement activities meet young people wherever they are and invite them to co-create change.
