Hold It Down CIC is a community-rooted organisation based in Croydon that amplifies unheard voices and fosters inclusive spaces for young people and families from underrepresented backgrounds. Our mission is to make everyone feel seen, valued and confident in shaping their futures through creativity, emotional honesty and community-led approaches.
We prioritise intergenerational connection and youth voice. Programmes like Roots & Wings are co-designed with local families and respond directly to what young people tell us they need: honest spaces for expression and a sense of belonging. Through storytelling, spoken word, digital media and creative workshops we unlock confidence and leadership, meeting people wherever they are and inviting them to co-create change.
Inclusion is at the heart of everything we do. We stand alongside those who have faced inequality, exclusion or a lack of culturally safe environments and nurture trust, cultural sensitivity and meaningful relationships that foster genuine belonging. By investing in people and local networks we build transformation that is resilient and lasting.
