I have a degree in the History of Art and have worked as a teacher of art inbetween raising my family. Now retired I have more time 'doing' art for fun! I try my hand at any medium and like mixing them most of all, exploring textures and surface decoration processes. I prefer working from my own photographs where possible and I'm often drawn by unusual viewpoints and effects of light. I also paint contemporary icons and make wedding collages.
