I have painted in watercolour for many years and have examples of my work in America and France as well as in the UK.  I prefer a relaxed impressionistic style – the looser the better – and have exhibited with the Yorkshire Watercolour Society as well as locally in the Hexham area.  My many years of hill walking and climbing draw me to the mountain landscape and, though my climbing days are over, I enjoy representing hill country in my paintings.
