Saturday 14th May - Brambles and wildflower planting

This week

Much-needed rain has really helped the wildflowers we planted at Easter and the first buds of the lemon-yellow mouse-eared hawkweed are appearing. We'll have a few more plants to go in this week and if we can clear another "scrape" from the spreading brambles, we'll sow some more heather seed.

Of course, we’ll be clearing any new litter too!

WHERE: Meet at the Goalpost behind David Lloyd – as usual

WHEN: 10am Saturday 14th May

WHO: Everyone (but children accompanied, as always please)

WHAT: If you have loppers,  secateurs, battery hedge trimmer or strimmer, these would all be helpful. We’ll provide litter-pickers and bags, and as many other tools as Art can carry.

As always, we are all coming as individuals, so please be careful, and be aware that we are all volunteering at our own risk, and good gloves and footwear are important.
