Saturday 13th August - Deep clean litter clearance continues

We’re still using the drought to our advantage and clearing as much old, historic rubbish exposed by the vegetation die-back as possible. This concerted "second pass" over the worst areas which we cleared over winter, is making a huge difference to the amount of decaying plastic among ivy and fallen leaves.

Join us if you can... cold drinks (and hot!) at David Lloyd afterwards... on the house (as always).

WHEN:   10am Saturday morning

WHERE: Meet at the goalpost, rear of David Lloyd as usual

WHO:     Anyone and everyone. As always, please bring some protective gloves, sensible footwear, sunscreen, water etc. and children must be accompanied.

WHAT:   Again, we’ll focus on litter-picking (we provide the litter-pickers/bags), and (depending on numbers/energy levels) maybe tackle some of the spreading scrub.

Hope to see you on Saturday! Bring your safari hat. It's going to be hot.
