The fund was set up in August 2015 to raise money to provide the life saving equipment to the village.
Following a series of events sufficient money was raised to buy 2 public access defibrillators.
one is located at the Festival Hall and the second is in the grounds of the church. We are looking for a suitable location at the eastern end of the village for a third defibrillator.
Meanwhile, the Heart Foundation has provided a public access defibrillator to the Auction Mart and this is located near to the main entrance.
They are all available in case of an emergency 24 hours a day seven days a week.
