Young volunteers
Volunteering for Girlguiding isn't just for adults.
Roles are on offer from ages 10 and up. Check out how you can get involved as a:
- If you're aged 10-14 and a Guide, why not become a Rainbow or Brownie helper? Speak to your Guide leader who can tell you how to unleash your inner leader or you can view more details here
- Duke of Edinburgh volunteers (known as Young External Volunteers in Girlguiding) for both boys & girls aged 13 - 17 as part of their volunteering section for DofE. Speak to your Duke of Edinburgh co-ordinator to find out more or you can view more details and sign up here

- For young women aged 14-17 who are already a Guide or Ranger or want to become a member of Girlguiding and step up your leadership skills then you can become a Young Leader with the Young Leader Development Programme and become part of the volunteering leadership team for Rainbows, Brownies or Guides or a mix of all 3! - For Rangers aged 14-18 or young adult women members aged 18-25, this is an incredible volunteer role that sees you visiting Brownie, Guide and Ranger units and leading meetings exploring important topics such as mental health, in an age appropriate way. More details and sign up here
