Following on from Guides in Girlguiding, are Rangers age 14 - 18. Rangers really is a time of girl power! It's their meetings and they decide what they want to do. Sometimes they like to be adventurous and push themselves out of their comfort zone, sometimes they like to have a cooking evening (& especially an eating evening!), sometimes they want to do something community-minded like campaigning on a national or local issue and sometimes they just want to hang out, chat, doodle, snack - whatever they choose to do, they are supported to do it in a safe space.
We still encourage Rangers to continue their Girlguiding adventure, exploring age appropriate and a fun range of themes in the programme and continue to learn more about themselves and the global world around them.
Rangers is an open and relaxed space, where they can regularly make and meet up with good friends, go on trips at home and abroad and help make a difference to the things they care about. It’s the freedom to be more independent, earn qualifications, badges, awards and to do what makes them happy. And of course there's still badges to earn along the way! From Fandoms to Life Skills, there's plenty of badge choices to suit all our Rangers!
Our Rangers meet flexibly in Oxshott on a Tuesday or Wednesday. Register your daughter for a place today!
Why not join your daughter on her Ranger journey and volunteer with us? Whether it be as a regular helper or the odd hour doing a bit of admin, we'd love to hear from you. Register your interest here
