The volunteers decided to install some benches to encourage visitors to sit and enjoy their peaceful surroundings and enjoy the flowers and wildlife. With a grant from Bradford Metropolitan Council, we were able to purchase three wooden benches. An area where there were no grave plots was found and the benches were installed, giving a different view from each one. Some of the benches are now 'in memory' of loved ones after relatives made a donation towards the upkeep of the cemetery.
