Ferryhill Active and Safe Travel is based in Ferryhill, Aberdeen. Our aim is to create an active travel corridor which is safe and pleasant for everyone, connecting Union Street to Duthie Park and beyond. We plan to encourage walking, wheeling, and cycling by introducing traffic-calming measures, improving pedestrian crossings, establishing bike lanes, and enhancing streetscapes and community green spaces.

What are we thinking about just now:

School Streets - proposals for a temporary road closure during school pick up and drop-off time around Ferryhill School

20mph limits on roads around Ferryhill and the South of Aberdeen.

NESTrans available funding for community groups - People & Place – Community Project Grant Fund | Nestrans

Working with Ferryhill School parent council on various road safety iniatives.
