We have today been informed that the range is back open. Please be mindful of shooting your due cards on time and let the committee know if you have any concerns.
22nd November 2017
We have today been notified that the range will need to be closed from immediate effect for a short period to facilitate some urgent ground maintenance. There will therefore be NO SHOOTING on Thursday 23rd November. We should receive an update next Monday.
It is appreciated that this is a busy time with your league cards and if you feel unduly pressured to shoot or will miss deadlines because of this closure, we will of course seek extensions as appropriate.
28th September 2017
The range will be closed on Thursday 28th September due to the choral concert held in the vicinity of the range, to remove any potential for incidents due to the large number of pupils mingling in the area of the car parking.
22nd July 2017
We have been told that the range will be closed in the coming weeks for refurbishment. The last shooting night before closure is Thursday 10th August 2017, re-opening for shooting on Tuesday 12th September 2017.
The Coaching nights have therefore been affected and are as follows:
Last before closure: Tuesday 1st August
First following closure: Thursday 21st September 2017
If you require club rifles, please remember to book these at least a week in advance.
6th February 2017
Last week the range was declared safe to use after repairs had been made. This week therefore marks the first full week of shooting since last November and so priority will be given to those who have outstanding league cards and other competition cards to shoot.
It is for this reason that the first Coaching Night will recommence on Thursday 16th February, with guests inductions commencing from March onwards.
If you have competition cards due, please make every effort to shoot them as soon as possible. Please use the booking system to book in as normal.

The range was due to re-open today but we have been told it will remain closed as the maintenance has not yet been completed.

Unfortunately the range is undergoing emergency maintenance and is something over which we have no control. This rather inconveniently means there will be no shooting at Epsom until the New Year. Keep an eye on this page for details of when shooting re-commences.

We have again been proving very popular in recent months, so in order to respect the care and attention we wish to give all our current probationers, we have temporarily frozen our Guest Nights until around Easter 2015. Don't be put off however, you are still welcome to email us at EpsomRifleClub@Gmail.com if you are interested. We will add you to our Waiting List and contact you again about coming along nearer the time.
Please note this does not preclude experienced shooters from other clubs from joining, who already hold their own FAC and have a letter of introduction from their current club.

Unfortunately, the combined Guest/Coaching evening has had to be cancelled due to unforseen issues with the Range Building. We request that all Guests booked for the evening can confirm, by email, their availability for the next session to be held on 31st January 2013.

The new shooting sesson is upon us, and for those members entered into the various leagues and other competitions, your cards are waiting. Worthy of note are that this year we have entered a second team into the Croydon League, and we have also (for the first time in living memory) entered a Junior Team into the Surrey League. Good shooting everyone!

The Club is trialling a change in the way that coaching is undertaken, especially with regard to Probationers and integrating their needs with the availability and shooting demands of existing members. All current Members and Probationers have been informed of the change, and the first of our trial series of 'Coaching Nights' commences on Thursday 21st June.
