Grass Mowing 2018
Suitably qualified and equipped people are invited to express an interest in regular mowing of the grass roadways, communal lawn and a few small grass paths on Elm Road Allotments site, New Malden KT3 3HT. The site has 2 vehicle entrances, one in Elm Road and the other in The Crescent. The areas to be mown are shown in pink on the site plan. Access to the site is by combination padlock and there is around 800 sq m of grass to cut.
The committee would like the grass cut nice and short to 25-35 mm every 2-3 weeks in the calendar year to a maximum of 15 times in the year. Clippings do not need to be collected. Exact dates and times are to be arranged with Hon. Treasurer John Palmer and will depend on temperature, rainfall, day length and how quickly the grass is growing. Interested persons and organisations will be asked to quote their price per cut for a calendar year’s cutting to a maximum of 15 cuts. Payment will be made by electronic transfer immediately on presentation of an email invoice.

Please Note: There is no equipment provided by the Association. The Association cannot extend insurance liability cover to the person or organisation carrying out the work so all parties need to be satisfied that there is adequate third party liability insurance in place in the event of any claim.
