Darwen Camera Club are happy to provide links to our neighbouring Camera clubs and our affiliate society websites. We are also happy to link to trade sites that are willing to support the club or its members in some way but regret we can't link to external sites purely to advertise their services. Please note: we regularly receive requests to include links to websites that may contain information of interest to photographers. Whilst many of these requests are no doubt well intentioned, the club doesn't benefit and for internet security reasons we feel the risk is not worth it. Please don't contact us asking us to link to a resource you have found as we won't act on it and your message will be deleted.

The Inter-Club Photographic Alliance (ICPA) is a group of around 18 local clubs that aim to support each other and compete through good-natured inter-club competition and occasional special events.
-
Lancashire & Cheshire Photographic Union
-
Darwen Camera Club is a member of the Lancashire & Cheshire Photographic Union, an organisation overseeing 96 photographic societies in the North West of England. The L&CPU encourage and promote photography in our region, organise annual club and individual competitions and represent their member clubs and societies at the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain.
-
Photographic Alliance of Great Britain
-
The PAGB bring together the 15 photographic federations across the UK, promoting activities and competition amongst affiliated clubs.
-
FIAP
-
The Federation Internationale de L’Art Photographique was founded in 1950 and is a federation of national photographic associations. For England, our affiliated body is the PAGB. Most club photographers regard FIAP principally as the body who endorse a number of worldwide competitions, or salons. Having an image accepted in these competitions helps towards international awards such as AFIAP and EFIAP, and for UK-based salons, the BPE 'star' awards.
