In our unfortunate 1-run loss to St George’s yesterday, there was still a special moment for the club as Alfie Shaw made his 1st XI debut at 15 years old 🏏
Even more special was the opportunity to make his debut alongside his dad Mark, who has given so many years to the club. A brilliant moment for both of them and one I’m sure the family will remember for a long time 💚
Alfie certainly played his part too, showing great composure at a key stage of the game to finish with excellent figures of 1-13 from 5 overs 🌟
Seeing young players come through the ranks and represent the 1st XI is what this club is all about and today was another brilliant example of that.
