Bosnian Youth in traditional clothing
London, UK — 10 November 2025 — The Bosnia and Herzegovina Community Advice Centre (BHCAC) has launched a new strategic initiative to strengthen engagement with the next generation of British Bosnians.

On 8 November 2025, BHCAC hosted the first consultation meeting for the British Bosnian Youth Engagement Initiative in London. This marks the beginning of a long‑term effort to create opportunities for young people, support cultural connection, and elevate youth voices within the community.

Building a Youth‑Led Future

The initiative focuses on listening directly to young British Bosnians—their interests, talents, and ideas for celebrating and preserving Bosnian heritage. By placing youth perspectives at the heart of its planning, BHCAC aims to ensure its future work reflects the energy and creativity of the next generation.

“We believe that the future of our community depends on empowering our young people,” said Zaim Pasic, Chair and Founder of BHCAC. “This initiative represents a commitment to supporting youth leadership, strengthening cultural identity, and ensuring our heritage continues to flourish.”
