We meet on the first Thursday of every month in the Wren Room in St Marks Church, Calder Rise, Bedford.
Please note the room change. We are now in the downstairs room, not upstairs.

Our next meeting is on 4th Dec at 7.30 pm. The theme is to write a Christmas Poem.
There will be snacks and the final read through of this year's round robin.

Alternate months have themes set for them, but the theme is a suggestion. You're always free to bring anything of your work that you would like to read, up to c1000 words.
We write a story together during the year, which we call our round robin. Each chapter is written by a different member, continuing a story on from the previous chapter. Examples of recent Round Robins can be found on this website. The new chapter  is read out at each meeting.

The themes for 2025 are:

Feb - No theme. First chapter of Round Robin will be read out.

March – Romance genre

April – No theme.. Also we will play a Flash fiction game to get prompts to take away to write 500 words to read in May after AGM.

May – AGM – read the flash fiction.

June – No theme.. John will bring calendar with pictures to use to write for July.

Sept – poetry – any genre poem.

Oct – No theme.

Nov- dialogue. Story of dialogue only. Or a monologue.

Dec – Christmas poem and round robin. Probably nibbles as well.
