The Housing Service Review Group will be starting their next review after the New Year. The group did a survey at numerous events and online asking as many people as possible what they think the review should be. Groups such as council tenants, homeowners, private renters and those in student accommodations were the targets for the survey.
The options were as follows:
- Community Safety
- Waset & Recycling
- Council Rent Arrears
The survey was left open to the public for over a month. And we received 236 completed survey. We found the majority (73%) asked for Community Safety to be reviewed. This was the first time the group did a survey asking people what they think should be reviewed. As previous reviews were always discussed and decided at previous meetings.
We would like to thank everyone who completed this survey. And hope that we can get more people involved to help us when we start the review in January.
