The 25th May is also African Freedom Day, so this Mothers* Rebellion will be highlighting climate justice and amplifying the voices of Mothers* Rebellion circles in Africa.
The climate crisis is already affecting mothers and children across the globe, and we will not give up the fight for a sustainable present and future for the current and coming generations. Our message is that we refuse to look away, that we refuse to give up and that we will do everything we can for the lives and future of our children.
What to bring:
*a sign to hold about why you are participating (this could be as simple as the names and ages of the children you care about)
*all weather gear (raincoat, sun lotion, layers, hat)
*something to sit on (cushion, blanket, cardboard, exercise mat)
*snacks and water, for you and any little people you bring.
