Maldon Museum in the Park will reopen 18th April 2025
Maldon Museum in the Park exhibits items directly related to the town and district. We are a registered charity run entirely by volunteers. The Museum was established in 1922 as Maldon Borough Museum and in 1996 moved to our current premises, the Edwardian former Park Keeper's Lodge in Promenade Park, Maldon.
The Museum is located by the pedestrian access Main Gates of the Promenade Park on Mill Road. There is a small Pay and Display car park just past the gates; this is the closest parking to the Museum. Further down Park Drive is the main entrance for vehicles with plenty of Pay and Display parking. Just follow the signs located in the Promenade Park to find your way to the Museum.
