Another Open Day visit which promise to be interesting from an environmental perspective: this one is at the Marchwood Energy Recovery Facility (ERF).

This will be an opportunity to find out how electricity is generated from waste. Places need to be booked in advance (Portsmouth is already full for a similar open day at their facility).
