Ben Webster: Climate, Environment and Biodiversity

Monday 18 March 2024
19:00 to 21:00

Our speaker will be Ben Webster, who spent 24 years working at The Times, 11 of them as environment editor. He now works on investigations for Open Democracy into climate, environment and biodiversity issues. His recent work includes investigating emissions from cruise ships in Southampton, and further afield looking at some background issues relating to COP28.
More details to follow regarding Ben's chosen topic for the WaterCan talk.
Refreshments on sale at cafe in community centre, and a warm welcome. There will also be a WaterCAN fund raising raffle. We hope you will join us.

It would be very helpful if you can reply to watercan2024@gmail.com (or philip.dowd1@gmail.com) if you intend to come and bring a friend, as numbers will decide the future venues that are the most suitable.
