A new NHS service has been introduced to make it easier for you to contact local healthcare services. The 'phone number is just 111.  It is for when you need advice fast, but it does not replace the emergency 999 service.

Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman

They exist to provide a service to the public by undertaking independent investigations into complaints that government departments, a range of other public bodies in the UK , and the NHS in England have not acted properly or fairly or have provided a poor service.

They work to put things right where we can and to share lessons learned to improve public services.

They are a free service open to everyone.
