The Smythe Hall in Stow Maries was full to capacity on Friday 10th November 2017. Those lucky enough to be in attendance enjoyed an evening of socialising and quizzing, as well as a sausage, beans, coleslaw and baked potato supper provided during the interval.

As usual, very grateful thanks are due to Peter Marshall for his hard work setting questions and acting as questionmaster on the night and Kym Marshall for keeping the scores - ably assisted by Rachael Green on this ocassion.

Of course the evening could not have passed off so successfully without the efforts of numerous cooks, food servers, washers-up, entrance money collectors, raffle ticket sellers (and prize donors), furniture shifters and general clearers-up. The Stow Maries Fund Raising Group wishes to extend its thanks to all of these unsung (and unpaid!) heroes - you know who you are.

Finally, thanks to all those who paid their entrance money and bought raffle tickets. With your help just over £600 was raised towards the upkeep of Stow Maries' Smythe Hall and St Mary's & St Margaret's Church.
