A Prayer for Ukraine – God of peace and justice. we pray for the people of Ukraine today. We pray for peace and the laying down of weapons. We pray for all those who fear for tomorrow. that your Spirit of comfort would draw near to them. We pray for those with power over war or peace, for wisdom, discernment and compassion to guide their decisions. Above all, we pray for all your precious children, at risk and in fear, that you would hold and protect them. We pray in the name of Jesus, the Prince of Peace. Amen

Archbishop Justin Welby and Archbishop Stephen Cottrell

IMPORTANT INFORMATION  We have been working together as a group of 10 churches since 2012 and this relationship was confirmed by the appointment of Robert as Priest-in-Charge of the 10 churches in 2020. For the last year the Churchwardens and Deanery have supported a draft diocese pastoral scheme which will make the legal change to our current three benefices (sub groups of churches) into a single benefice comprising all 10 churches. Please note there is no change to the parish structure and PCCs, this all continues as is. The draft pastoral scheme has now reached public consultation, it can be read at this link or please email us for a copy. If you wish to comment either in support or objection, your comments must be submitted by midnight on Monday 15th August 2022.

Join us every Sunday in our churches, service details are on the "Church Services" page.

Children’s Summer Holiday Club – Monday 15 August from 10am to 3pm, click here for further details including how to register.

Parish News for June is now available. Vicar’s letter for the month can be read here where you will also find details of how to subscribe.

We continue to meet on Zoom for our mid-week service, for our 10 churches prayer meeting on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month at 8pm, and for Home Group Fridays at 2pm. Please see ‘onlinechurch’ here for details.

Financial Giving – We are very grateful to the generosity of so many people who provide their time, talents and financial support to sustain the life and ministry of the 10 churches.  Regular giving is essential to help us plan our mission and ministry and to pay the insurance and cover maintenance for our 10 historic church buildings. The loss of income from giving in the collection plate on Sunday mornings, from not being able to hold weddings and funeral services in church and the loss of a number of planned community fundraising events, is having a major impact on our income, whilst the outgoings remain largely unchanged. We need income of at least £8,500 per month across the 10 churches to balance the books.  If you can support any of our village churches with a regular or one-off donation we would be very grateful. There are further details on how to give here. Thank you.
