Just to make you aware of the below letter being issued by the scheme contractor to inform residents of a temporary increase in lorry movements.

I am writing to update you on the temporary increase of lorry movements in your neighbourhood as we transport materials as part of the M11 J7A project.

In order to construct the new link road, a volume of imported soil is required. To reduce journey miles and additional congestion, we have been working with the local housing developers on Gilden Way and will be relocating surplus soil from their site.

This will involve several lorries shuttling materials between Woodlark Road and Gilden Way to the new Link Road site.
