The Parish Council has received notification from EFDC of proposed changes to
the Local Plan.

These proposals could have a significant and permanent impact on both Sheering
and Lower Sheering residents, as they would allow major development over
large tracts of land currently designated as Green Belt, possibly extending from
the M11 Junction 7A link road, up to the Longlands Bridge and
along Sheering Lower Road from the junction with the B183.

Prior to the closing date for submissions (23/09/2021),
he Parish Counci submitted objections on behalf of all residents

Plans for Essex Libraries new 26/11/21

"On Friday 26 November, our revised four-year plan for libraries in Essex
will be launched and we will be inviting residents to have their say and
comment on the proposals.

 The draft Everyone’s Library Service 2022-2026 Plan details
how the County Council intends to transform the Library 
offer over the next four years into a modern, vibrant and sustainable
that everyone can access and benefit from.

Annual Financial Statutory Audit

Sections 1and 2 of the Annual Governance and Accountancy Return, for 2020-21,
were submitted to PKF Littlejohn on 28th June 2021 for (external) audit.

Following completion and sign off from PKF, they contain the audited pages and the Authorisation letter and certificate received from them.
