Thank you to everyone who came to our recent Christmas Fayre at the hall. Our grateful thanks to The Mayor of Chelmsford Councillor Janette Potter and Mayoress Councillor Jackie Galley for opening the event. Thank you to our volunteers who helped us set up the day before including decorating the hall for Christmas; on the day with car parking for stallholders and the public; helping during the event and clearing up after the event (you know who you are!) We are also very grateful to the stallholders especially those who donated prizes for the Raffle including Agatha Crochet; Anna Hughes Crafts; Austin book corner Independent Usborne seller; Borderland Crafts; Brock Hill Honey; By that girl Eve; Calico Mosaico; Dewin Pren Woodworking; Handmade by SueVic; Hanningfield Treat company; Hounds of Hanningfield; Joanne Harris - Crafty Jo's; John Bishop Wood Turning; Leigh Bees; Lillybelle Bracelets; Linpincrafts; Liv's Crafts; Liz Goodall Cards and Gifts and Marlin Woodcrafts. We raised over £1,100 which was a fantastic achievement and will go into the upkeep of the village hall.
