A Lottery 200 Club operates to benefit the Village Hall Improvement Project. Residents, their friends and families are welcome to participate. The Club takes the form of a regular monthly draw. Limiting the number of participants in the draw ensures that there is a 1 in 200 chance of winning.
Participants pay £2 per month, per number either by Bank standing order or cheque. Members are limited to a maximum of 4 numbers. Cheques should be made payable to "Ridgewell Village Hall Management Committee" and must be for a full year's payment (£24 per number) to avoid administrative overload. Payments received into the bank account by the 5th of the month will be eligible for that month's draw.
The draw usually takes place at the Farmers' Market at around 11am with any changes to this process being advised through our Facebook page. 50% of each month's draw goes to the winning number and the other 50% will go into funds to support the Village Hall Improvement Project.
The scheme is licenced under Braintree District Council's small lottery licence and regular returns are made to BDC.
Please follow the links to access an application form and Scheme rules and regulations. We have now sold all 200 numbers, but if you are interested in having a number, please make enquiries to John Arthur or Kim Benwell - we have a waiting list system and a number of people who have more than one number who may relinquish a number.
If you have any questions, please speak to John Arthur (01440 788286).
