Richmond Biodiversity Partnership logoThe Richmond Biodiversity Partnership

The Richmond Biodiversity Partnership brings together organisations and individuals to conserve and enhance biodiversity (nature) in the borough of Richmond upon Thames. The Biodiversity Partnership's members represent a range of local interests concerned with wildlife and biodiversity.

This website is a public engagement tool to promote the need to provide good habitat for House Sparrows, ask for sighting information and to develop a Species Action Plan (SAP) that will outline how to protect these important birds. Once adopted, the SAP can be used by local land managers and residents to inform them of how they can manage their land and gardens to improve conditions for House Sparrows. This work is being undertaken by volunteers at South West London Environment Network (SWLEN). SWLEN is also the secretariat for the Richmond Biodiversity Partnership.
