Another publicity drive for Richmond and Kingston ME Group!
Stall at Teddington Hospital
We held an information stall at Teddington Hospital on Saturday 04th May 2013 and spoke to about 40 people including patients waiting to be seen at the walk in clinic, volunteers and staff. We gave out leaflets and raised £10 for BRAME by selling blue ME awareness ribbons. Several of the people we spoke to knew someone with ME and were grateful for the information and leaflets we could supply.

Stall at Kingston University
We held an information stall at Kingston University on Tuesday 30th April 2013 as part of a Disability Awareness Day organised by the Disability Student Office. We made some useful contacts amongst the academic support staff and handed out leaflets and talked to many people, three of whom were students whose room mates had ME.

Thanks to everyone who came and helped with the stall including Jools and Heather for coming along.
Stall at Kingston Market
We held an information stall in Kingston on Saturday 9th June 2012 as part of Kingston Voluntary Sector in the Marketplace. We were so lucky with the weather and it went very well!
Special thanks to Heather for all her help in setting up the stall and for her brilliant display version of her presentation in full colour.

We were visited by the Mayor (Cllr. Mary Heathcote who came to our AGM last year) plus other local councillors, one of whom has another 'hat' as Paul Burstow's case worker.
We talked to several people from other voluntary organisations plus someone who works at St. George's and would like us to contact her about ME Awareness training.
All in all a useful day and thank you everyone who came and helped with the stall and all who contributed in whatever way.
