Coach Trip to Loseley Park

Wednesday Coach Trip

Loseley Park is in Surrey and just a few miles further on then Wisley. The main garden is a lovely area:  Once a walled area kitchen garden of 2½ acres, it now contains a series of gardens based on a design by Gertrude Jekyll.  There is also a wildlife meadow, a walk along a bank of the moat and for the more energetic a walk across the park by the lake.

The house was built in 1552 and has been the home of the More-Molyneux family for the whole period.  It contains panelling from Henry VIII's Nonesuch Palace, sixteenth century furniture and works of art. Entry to the house is by by guided tour only.

You'll enjoy the plant sales, a shop and a restaurant, where they're sure to sell their famous ice cream.

The price of the trip includes tea/coffee and biscuit on arrival, entrance fees to the garden, grounds and the guided tour of the house.
