The work of the Plymouth Music Accord is supported by three categories of membership:

The more members we have, the greater our influence over the bodies who control local decision making and expenditure in arts & music, and the better Plymouth's chance of becoming a real regional centre for music with a quality concert hall.

Follow the links to find out more about the three categories, how you can support musical life in Plymouth, and what you get in return. Our subscription rates had not changed since 2008 and at the AGM held in May 2018 it was decided to increase the rates, as shown below.

Music Organisations

Local orchestras, choirs, music societies and performers may join as Music Organisation Members through an annual subscription (£40 for amateur organisations and £60 for professional organisations - those liable to pay VAT), for which they receive:

  • All their concerts and events listed in the monthly Concert Diary mailing
  • Invitation to the Annual General Meeting
  • Discounted booking of selected local venues including Plymouth Guildhall

Corporate Members

Companies or organisations wishing to support the work of Plymouth Music Accord may become Corporate Members for an annual subscription of £100, or more if they wish. In return they receive:

  • Publicity - their name & logo in PMA brochures and concert programmes
  • Their name and website link in this PMA Website
  • Invitations to special events
  • Opportunity for priority booking and discounted purchase of tickets at selected concerts promoted by the PMA or its members
